At Words & Worship, we know there is a world in need. A world that needs love, a lending hand or even just a chance at a happy and healthy life when life’s circumstances hasn’t allowed for it. That’s why we want to do our part to give back and we’d love to bring you along for the ride! For every sale at our shop, a portion of the proceeds will go to a charity of your choosing. We’ve selected a few organizations with causes close to our heart and YOU can decide to give to whichever you’d like.Read more about these organizations below. Clean Water Cause
Right now, 663 million people on the planet still don’t have access to clean, safe, drinking water. At Liquid Church, Clean Water is our global cause – and we envision a day when every person on the planet has access to safe drinking water! We support clean water, sanitation, and hygiene projects in Africa and Central America. To date, we have drilled more than 280 clean water wells, bringing clean water to over 100,000 people in 9 nations. Together, we’ve donated more than $3 million to the Clean Water Cause!
Bible for Everyone
Right now, almost a billion people are able to speak to their mothers, their fathers, their siblings, and their neighbors in their language … but they’ve never experienced God speaking to them through His Word in their language. The Bible literally doesn’t exist in their heart language. When you give to Bible for Everyone, you’re helping our global Bible partners get Scripture translated into every language. Our vision is to see everyone have access to at least a portion of Scripture by 2033. Let’s get the Bible to everyone!
My Neighbor’s Ministries
The Pantry at Zarephath Christian Church collects shelf-stable food items to serve families in our area who are low income and/or facing crisis. We provide frozen and canned meat, various dairy items, canned goods, bread and baked items as well as pasta and rice. Toiletry items are also provided according to availability and need. The areas we serve are Bound Brook, South Bound Brook, Manville, Somerville, Raritan, Bridgewater, Somerset, and North Plainfield.
Operation Christmas Child
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. Since 1993, more than 188 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.
